Abigail’s company is organizing a customer seminar. A project in SuperOffice has been created for the event to keep track of the seminar details and a list of the participants who have signed up.

Abigail creates a selection of all her customers, who are decision makers and haven’t attended any of customer seminars this year. She uses that selection as a target list to send invitations to the upcoming seminar. Then she creates the invitation by using one of the existing mailing templates.

When Abigail edits her message she personalizes the invitations and inserts a link which allow the customers to sign up directly for the seminar. The system tracks when recipient clicks on this link and automatically adds them to the existing seminar project. Abigail is now ready to send her mailing, but instead schedules it to be sent tomorrow at 2pm, since she knows this is a good time-of-the-day for people to read emails.

After the mailing has been sent out, Abigail can watch the dashboard to get live statistics of the mailing results. All the customers who have signed up for the seminar will be automatically included in the project’s members list.

At a later point she can go back to the project and use its participant list as a target group for a new mailing, such as a reminder right before the seminar.
